Martin Dietrich

Martin Dietrich is from Frankfurt am main, Germany.

His work is mostly concentrated on abstract, minimalistic and geometrical nature which includes strong leading lines and shapes.

His work also absorbs urban themes such as architecture and street photography.

He has been interested in photography ever since he started taking photos in 2009 so that he can escape the state facts for a moment while exploring his creative alter ego.

He takes his camera with him around his home town, he opens his eyes and looks for lines and perspective. Which is fascinated by minimalism and abstract, Martin Dietrich’s view on urbanity tries to reveal an unfamiliar impression of a familiar environment.

The Ghost that carried us Away

This is an example of a double exposure that Martin Dietrich created using his camera

Like Dan Mount ford, Martin Dietrich creates his double exposures in camera. He shot this series, which is called The Ghosts That Carried Us Away in Frankfurt, Germany. The double exposure effect is subtle but appealing as it portrays the feeling of trying to remember a now-foggy memory.

This is an example of Dan Mount Ford’s double exposure photo, he believed that it’s a great way to link people and places with memories together. Dan Mount Ford was trying to think of another way to portray his photos visually through the use of people who meant a lot to him and places where he used to live or grew up.
